Germinating Seeds

1. Place the seeds into a glass of temperature controlled water, the seeds develop best at a room temperature of between 20°C- 25°C (or 68F-77F) in a dark room.

2. Around 6 – 12 hours after the seeds have been activating in the dark put the seeds onto a plate with a piece of kitchen paper and place them (with space to breathe) between two lightly dampened sheets of cotton pads/paper. Alternatively, a few sheets of thick toilet paper can work too. Then place another plate on top 🙂

3. After 2 -3 days the seeds should start to form a sprout & break out their shells, it can take up to 2-5 days for the seeds to fully germinate and with a little patience & care the seeds should be ready to plant. The final stage is to plant the tap root with the root facing downwards into plant medium to keep the seeds happy, they will begin to show signs of growing after a few days.
